Nothing to say.

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 25, 2008, 4:32 PM
Nothing at all. Except for the fact that I'm still alive!! Yaaaaaaay!!

Honestly, I've been on vacation for a couple of days and found myself becoming an annual passholder of the Kennedy Space Center (at Cape Canaveral, FL). I'm too much of a space geek to have turned it down when offered the chance. Other than that, I've drawn a few new things and have yet to put them on deviant. Sometime soon, I hope? Still taking that break from the hectic surroundings I face daily while working at the Magic Kingdom.

Hope everyone finds themselves in good health (both mentally and physically).

Ah yes...The beautiful Cinderella castle all lit up for the holidays. Took some photos of it. Posted one on here.

Not much else to say. Hope everyone is in good health both mentally and physically.

Finally got a new digital camera. Yaaaaaaaaaay me! Still learning how to use it, but having fun.

Went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. Had a great time. I always get excited when I see the Headless Horseman. There he is-------> [link] I saw him last year at the campfire Halloween night. I could hear the horse coming from a mile away. It was frightfully perfect. I'll be going to the campfire again Wednesday. Maybe I'll take a better photo of him then? It'll be a rainy day (let's hope the Tropical Storm doesn't head this way!).

I've found myself drawing a lot lately. Nothing worth being put on DA (not that anything was worth being poseted before). I've also found myself working a little too much. I have changed my address now to Magic Kingdom (or at least it feels like it) so if you need to contact me, you know where to find me.

Hope everyone finds themselves in a good place both mentally and physically.

Last month (Aug. 22nd) I got my one year pin at Disney. Yeeaah, I've been there for a year. Honestly didn't think I would last that long. Still a photographer there and still with no camera of my own. And of course still NO time to sit down and draw/paint.

I've had my days when I hate every second of my job. But I think everyone has those days. It's such a big world in there and none of it seems real, but sometimes a person gets tired of all the "Happiness" and "Magic" he/she has to exude. Then there are the days when you get the best experiences with characters and guests and you go home loving every second of you daily routine. Aaaah, yes...This is me.

Had fun going to the Pirate and Princess Party and got my photo taken with the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow. Maybe I'll post the photo in the scraps section? **Actually it's there now** Highly recommend coming to the Magic Kingdom for these parties. Next will be the Not So Scary party (I don't have a costume for it yet).

It's still flippin' hot here. I've sweat in places I never knew a person could sweat in. And every afternoon still rewards us with thundershowers. No major hurricanes yet. I'm dead tired so I guess this is where my journal entry ends.

On painting murals...

For those who don't know yet...I'm painting a mural at EPCOT for the DPI department. Thankfully I have no tales of mishaps with this little venture (not like the happenings with the cactus while I painted that chair last year). Although before I left today I had to wash my face because I had paint splattered all over it. That might be the answer as to why people were staring at me funny. BUT I have found that cast members find it entertaining to stand behind me with popcorn and watch while I paint. This might sound like fun, but knowing that people are looking at my butt all day is not the most fantastic thing in the world. If I have to listen to Figment one more time, I might just erase him from the mural. Okay maybe not, but I think I've had my fill of Figment for a long while. I'm finally getting paid to do what I studied for so many years (even if it's not a permanent gig).

Alas, I'm busy...Working insane hours in one day...Taking loads of photos...Having fun...

Hope everyone is in good health, both mentally and physically.

HUGS!!
