I haven't been in here as often as I usually am. Not that I ever post regularly, but I at least try to thank people for any +favs and browse through artworks from people I watch. Almost a month ago I got hired as an Art teacher in a very good school (it's a school of the arts, considered a choice school). I was excited and nervous and beyond belief. This is my first job as a teacher and I cannot believe they took such a chance on me. I thank them repeatedly and eternally. I was tired of looking at the same journal entry every time I came to my page. I seem to have become a little lazy lately with art. I only draw/paint when someone commissions me and I only take photos when I'm at work (unless I go to my happy place, aka Kennedy Space Center). It's a shame really. Speaking of work, I'm at a point in my life when I think it's time to make some changes. Over the past 6 months I've been working on getting a professional teaching certificate. It's proved to be kind of pricey but well worth it. Hopefully I'll be teaching Art in a classroom by the end of this year. That would be ideal, but if that doesn't happen, wh
